A rather different way to spend Christmas, we were at the National Museum on Christmas Day itself. They were having an open house and all exhibitions were free. What's more, they had a small section of art and craft for little hands to make Christmas decor and stuffs.
We were stuck there for the whole morning.

Later, we had the chance to explore some of the exhibitions, namely Doubleness and Voom Portraits, both very intriguing.
I tried to involve Jamie in the exhibits lest he got bored in the dark studios... We had a discussion on the video portrait of Bradd Pitt -

"Look Jamie, this is Bradd Pitt. He's an actor and he dumped Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie." Jamie stared at the stranger wearing nothing but his underwear and socks quite suspiciously.
"Wow, it's raining... why is he not wearing any clothes? Do you think he's cold?"
"Look at his socks! No shoes! Is Jamie wearing any socks too?"
"It's still raining! Where do you think the eensy weensy spider is? Is it on his legs? is it on his tummy??" A round of tickles and laughter..
"OH! The rain has stopped! No more rain! Oh Mr Sun, Sun, Mister golden sun.. please shine down on me..." we started to sing...
That was how silly mommy and son went about with the exhibits...
I must say, Felix and I enjoyed ourselves very much at the National Museum. It is nice to be doing some adult stuffs with the kids, not just kids stuffs day in and day out.
Meantime, check out the 2 other exhibits on display that day at the glass atrium....
